Known errors

When powered up the TravelSafe alarm will automatically perform a self-test.
If the test where passed, all three LED´s will indicate that, by flashing 3 times, furthermore a beep will sound .
In the other case, if an error was encountered, the red LED will indicate the type of error.
This is done by flashing red LED x times according to the number of the error.
(If more than one error is present – only the first error encountered is indicated on the LED).
1 x flash – failure on button
2 x flash – failure on low voltage (battery)
3 x flash – LED failure (red, green, yellow LED)
4 x flash – failure on light sensor in smoke chamber
5 x flash – failure on system voltage
6 x flash – motion sensor failure

Some customers who have linked alarms in a series, and then later to run them on APP, find that the alarms do not sign in to APP.
If you experience the same problem, this may be the solution:
Set an alarm in Learn mode and let it connect to itself, let it flash for 15 seconds, put it back in normal mode and disassemble the battery. This will reset the alarm’s series connection to the other alarms. One for one repeated procedures with the other alarms.

Please be aware that issues like this can happen when using new and old detectors.

Detectors do not ship unique IDs and shows battery low messages (probably the old type).

Detector must be deleted – not only from the app but also from the group.
Something similar can happen if a detector is not enrolled anymore (simply deleted from the app, but still alive as part of the same Cavius group) – this will be detected when you perform a test because an unknown sensor starts beeping.

Replace the battery in the unit and hold down the test button for at least 7 seconds to reset. This will also start a test.

Huawei P20 kills the app and no push event alerts appears. Huawei has a proprietary battery saver that causes this, and push messages (and for example emails) can be retrieved by “the way Huawei has implemented it”.

Detectors gets radio noise during testing. After releasing the test button (after 3 sweeps), the detector you have tested from, should also give beep every 8 seconds. If it does not, there is currently radio noise and it does not output test signal. Please try again later.

Detectors produced before 21.12.2017 will not display the detector’s name (ID), but all other information will be displayed at an event.
